Minimum CompuHost V3 System Requirements

CompuHost V3 is a modern day, full featured application, incorporating many of today’s latest technologies to bring you unsurpassed performance and functionality. To ensure reliable and efficient operation, please ensure your Computer System meets the following MINIMUM requirements. As with any multitasking, full featured application, the better the performance of your computer hardware, the better the performance of the software/hardware combination in general.  

 

Minimum Hardware Requirements

  • Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 8.1 / Windows 10 / Windows 11 32Bit and 64Bit supported

  • Reasonably capable Intel or AMD Processor (Intel I5 and AMD Ryzen 5 or faster). Less capable processors primarily found in Chromebooks and lower priced, entry level computers are NOT recommended (Intel ATOM, I3, AMD A (A4, A6, A8 etc.) Series, Ryzen 3 etc.).

  • High Quality Graphics Device (Minimum 64mb Video Ram, supporting Windows Extended Desktop Dual Monitors at standard (4:3) and wide screen (16:9) resolutions.)

    • NVIDIA or RADEON Based Graphics Devices Recommended.
    • AVOID INTEL HD/UHD GRAPHICS DEVICES IF POSSIBLE! WHY?

  • Minimum 512 MB Ram

  • 40MB Free Hard Drive Space + Sufficient Space for compressed MP3+G Files, (Avg. 4MB per Song)

  • OPTIONAL - Karaoke CD+G Compatible CDRom/DVD Drive (CDROM/DVD Drive must support reading of Karaoke SubChannel (Onscreen Lyrics) data.)

  • High quality Audio Record/Playback Device (Sound Card)

 

CompuHost V3 has been tested on lesser systems with satisfactory results. However, reliable and efficient performance cannot be guaranteed. We therefore recommend installing and testing the FREE Evaluation Version on the system you intend to utilize, ensuring satisfactory performance and reliability prior to purchase.

INTEL HD/UHD GRAPHICS DEVICES ARE NOT RECOMMENDED!

Although Intel is a highly respected, leading innovator and provider of high quality, reliable computer processors, and thus HIGHLY recommended with regard to your choice of CPU ("INTEL INSIDE"), they have unfortunately proven FAR less capable of producing other reliable and capable computer peripherals and devices, case in point here, their Intel HD and UHD lines of graphics adapters.

Please understand that CompuHost V3, like most technically advanced multi-media applications, is highly dependant and reliant upon supporting computer hardware devices and/or components in order to function reliably and efficiently. Unfortunately, Intel's HD and UHD line of graphics devices have failed to meet our performance and reliability standards and therefore to ensure the very best end user experience, we strongly encourage our valued users to choose a more capable and reliable video device whenever possible (NVIDIA, RADEON etc.).

Fortunately, Intel has recognized and resolved some of the performance and reliability bugs/issues within the associated device drivers of some of the effected devices, therefore we invite you to reference this KnowledgeBase Article for assistance with updating your Intel Graphics HD/UHD device drivers if available.
